Presentazione:

Ciao a tutti! Siamo 16 studenti, otto ragazzi e otto ragazze. Circa la metà di noi vive a Monterotondo, mentre il resto della classe vive nei dintorni. Quasi tutti abbiamo animali domestici. Pratichiamo diversi sport: calcio, nuoto, danza, arti marziali ed equitazione. I nostri hobby sono: ascoltare la musica, suonare strumenti, la batteria e la chitarra, andare in bicicletta. Ci piace uscire e chattare con gli amici. Le nostre materie preferite sono storia, inglese ed educazione fisica.

Ecco le nostre attività per quanto riguarda il progetto Comenius:

Fase 1, anno scolastico 2015-16:

• abbiamo fatto dei rilievi fotografici del pozzo, con particolare attenzione sia alla struttura della cisterna originale comprensiva di stemmi papali e teste leonine, sia dell'aspetto conservativo dell'opera (lacune, rotture, interventi di restauro precedenti);
• abbiamo fatto dei rilievi grafici del pozzo-cisterna, con particolare attenzione alla visione frontale comprensiva di struttura in ferro;
• abbiamo acquisito la documentazione storico-artistica del palazzo Orsini, poi Barberini, e del pozzo-cisterna.

Fase 2, anno scolastico 2016-17:

• rilevamento dello stato di conservazione e registrazione dei dati sul rilievo grafico precedentemente realizzato;
• esecuzione delle operazioni preliminari al restauro, quali la rimozione dei depositi superficiali, fuori e dentro la cisterna, nonché delle piante superiori.Queste attività saranno realizzate sotto la supervisione  di un tecnico restauratore.

Presentation:

Hello to everybody! We are 16 students, eight boys and eight girls. Approximately half of us live in Monterotondo and half life in the boundaries. Almost all of us have pets. We practice different sports: football, swimming, dance, martial arts and horse-riding. Our hobbies are listening to music, playing instruments, the drums and the guitar, riding our bikes. We like going out and chatting with friends. Our favourite subjects are History, English and P.E.

Here are our activities as far as Comenius project is concerned:

 Phase 1, school -year 2015-16

• we took some photos of the well, with particular relevance both to the structure of the original tank with papal coat of arms and lion's heads, and to the actual conditions of the work (missing parts, cracks, previous restoration works);
• we made some drawings of the well-tank with particular relevance to the frontal view with iron structure;
• we studied the historic-artistic documents of Orsini palace, later belonging to the Barberini, and the well-tank.

Phase 2, school-year 2016-17

• survey of the actual condition and registration of the data on the graphic relief previously realized;
• carrying out of the preliminary operations as far as restoration is concerned, for example the removal of the superficial deposits, outside and inside the tank, as well as  of the above plants. These activities will be carried out with the supervision of a restoration expert.
